• Setup of optimum working conditions
• Separation efficiency and column parameters

Day 2 – a.m. – Theoretical session LC-MS
Instrumental aspects of LC-MS:
• Interfaces
• Ionisation modes (ESI, APCI, etc.)
• Analyser’s type (quadrupole, ion trap, TOF, Q-TOF)
• Modes of operation (full scan, SIM, CID, MS-MSn, SRM)

Day 2 – p.m. – Practical session LC-MS
Experiments and demonstrations related to:
• LC-MS: different modes and operation parameters (tuning, full scan/SIM, CID, MS-MSn, SRM)
